Scott Merrifield has represented hundreds of clients in personal injury, workers' compensation, contract litigation, business litigation, family law, and general litigation cases. Merrifield is involved in all operations of the firm, and is also editor of the Role Call newsletter for the Military Subcommittee of the Family Law committee of the American Bar Association. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve for three years, as a judge advocate and legal assistant in the prosecution of administration boards, and in general soldier skill training.
After attending the University of South Carolina, and spending a year in Warrick, England, Merrifield served as a clerk to the Honorable Jackson V. Gregory from 1997-1998, and has since argued two cases before the South Carolina court of appeals, and three before the South Carolina Supreme Court.
